WindowManager is a desktop organization program. It offers users a convenient way to control the windows of applications. When you open various applications, WindowManager fixes and remembers their parameters and places them in the same position when you open these programs the next time. It can manage programs, dialogs, explorers’ windows, and others. There are two sections: Regular and Special. The regular section serves for placing the information about the already used applications, i.e. WindowManager uses this information and defines what to do with the given window. First WindowManager searches the Regular list and then if it doesn’t find the matches, it checks the Special list with new items. You can also create a new profile for the desired application by clicking on the “New” button. As it is known, a window is characterized by a window title and window class. So, in the properties option you can adjust window parameters and window action. You can determine the window position, size, delay and so on. WindowManager also contains the default info for the windows of the certain class, for example “32770” (standard dialogs). You should keep in mind that WindowManager works only with the top level applications, but not with the dependent windows. Finally, you can setup to start WindowManager with Windows and to show the tray icon.
